I am working now on Paper Tree ver. 2.0. It is made from office paper that would have been shreadded and thrown out and cardboard tubes. The main trunk is 8' tall and was salvaged from a dumpster. Everything else comes from my graphics job. The first one was about 6' high when finished and was displayed and burned here in Florida at a local burn called Preheat. I was overwhelmed by the response to it and have really enjoyed seeing the pictures people took.
After the first one was gone my apartment felt empty without it being there. I also started recieving messages from people who were sad that it was gone and they never got to see it. The next day Paper Tree ver. 2.0 was born. A couple weeks later it is at the point you see now and will continue to grow until August when it will be transported to BRC if everything falls into place.
I have recieved a lot of interest from people across the country who have been following it's progress on myspace. It's really amazing to read the comments and questions from everyone.
